you could do something that wouldn't really change the plot, so something like a new ore or some cool weapons

Make some biome that doesn't have vanilla like trees. Maybe I could help you with a procedure of randomisation in trees, that could make cool big trees for a new biome

Is the procedure you're talking about make trees look randomized or something like that? Because I would love to know how to do that!
