I need a Procedure where i put a battery item in the top slot of the gui and then coal on the bottom slot it will recharge the battery but only to 1 less damage than maxed out due to issues with the mod and when i make one myself it wont stop at the durabilaty i want and it wont stop removing the coal i put in so is there any way i can get help with a working procedure? The coal will have to go slowly away.

You can use the Get damage of Provided itemstack to check the durability of the battery.
