The templates in mcreator are bad. Is there a plugin that changes the templates to the new minecraft textures? I think that because the textures dont even LOOK like Minecraft 1.15.
No, because you don't have the rights to use vanilla textures, unless Mojang explicitly allowed you
I can show you how to do it. (step by step)
1) You need to open .minecraft folder.
2) And open versions folder in . minecraft
3) Open the version folder that you are using (for example 1.15.2)
4) Open the java file with winrar which is above a json file.
5) Go to assets
6) Then minecraft
7) And textures
8) Now open the folder called "block" and drag the texture that you want to use to somewhere
9) Then import the texture and edit it.
