Workplace Setup Failed

I've used the suggested troubleshooting techniques found in the knowledge base under most common and second most common issues but I still have the Error Message "Workplace Setup Failed" when launching for the first time. 

To clarify, I have: 

Have a MacBook Air

Turned off Firewall temporarily 

Re-ran from setup 

Made sure my internet connection was fast and consistent

Re-ran setup several times in order to ensure all files got downloaded...eventually 

uninstalled / reinstalled in case there was an initial download error

Went to my security settings to see if the APP was being blocked by my apple privacy and security settings (worked at initial setup to trust, doesn't show anything here to select)

I'm setting up for my 7 year old whom does this at camp so I am not the user/expert/or very savvy
