i have tried to use the tags to make sure my leaf dont decay on my custom tree but it does not seem to work and i need some help
You can possibly set the leaf block's material to something other than "LEAVES" (assuming you have it set to be a leave material), while keeping all the other values the same.
I am using a non-decaying leaf block in a mod I am working on. The block's material is set to "ROCK" and the step sound is "PLANT". It worked for me.
Thats a simple but clever solution but then you have to get rid of the leaves urself tho
Oh! Do your leaves decay even when on your tree's wood log block?
Make sure that your log block has the material type "WOOD".
i do have it like that and it still decay
I have the same issue, still not really sure whats wrong with it though
