Like the name suggest, I want to improve the general ambience of my biomes. Lately, I've been less and less inspired, because I think my biomes are pretty boring, not original and very ''flat''. I just want suggestions, help and ideas to make my biomes more interresting then ever. Thanks for your help.

You have pretty good English.
One thing you can do to add to the presentation of your biome could be by adding ambient creatures .
In one of my biomes, I have little ambient glowing entities that rise up into the air at night:
Really good idea, I've done something like this for the lunar plains; the lantern bug. And im planning to add more mobs. But thanks for your help! :)
Add some structures like meteor craters in barren plains biome or some cool ambient sounds. You can also add forests with glowing vines or Mountains with lava, like a volcano or something.
