Ender Dragon Custom Drops

Hello. I've came up with the idea to make the Ender Dragon drop "Dragon Scales" Which could be used to make really good armor. However, I don't know how to make the Ender Dragon drop said Scales. Perhaps one of you fellow modders could give me a short tutorial on how to do that? Thanks.

Use loot tables or procedures (when an entity dies, if is an enderdragon, spawn item dragon scales)

You need to press "Check if current entity is player" to get the code and then change sub type to Dragon, hope this helps
