This mod aims to enhance some Minecraft combat balancing, and on top of that, adding a new material between Iron and Diamond. Also gives some items new Blocks, adds new blocks, resources and structures!

Some Storage Blocks

A new feature added to Oceans are Clams, these will give a little bit of loot when opened. Is a new reason to explore the Oceans. The loot contains fish, pearls and rarely some things like Turtle Scutes and even Nautilus Shells!

New Ocean additions

The rebalancing:

  • Gold Tools now hit stronger if the player has Gold Nuggets, but hitting with them will consume Nuggets.
  • Leather Armor grants more Defense (+3) on Cold Biomes or on Snow.
  • Chain Armor grants Resistance at full HP.
  • Impaling now deals extra attack speed when underwater/under rain (+ the vanilla effect).
  • Spectral Arrows now kill directly Phantoms (and undead mobs in the tag forge:ghosts)

The new Material is called Krushk, and their stats are between Iron and Diamond, but with a twist.

The tools will become stronger at low durability, mining faster and dealing more damage.

The armor similarly to Chain Armor, grants Resistance, but instead at low HP.

This new material can be found mainly in Ores in the Overworld and the Nether, and requires Iron Tools to be harvested. In Dripstone Caves (and in biomes tagged as forge:has_extra_krushk_ore) generates more Krushk Ores.

Also can be found in some vanilla loot and can be dropped by the new mob: The Buried.

The Buried

Burieds are new Undead mobs which spawn Underground (and in biomes tagged as forge:spawn_buried_surface). They attack Villagers, Players, Golems and Wolves and their attacks will cause the new Weight Effect

Mudsoleum

Burieds can also generate in Buried Dungeons, structures generated similarly to Vanilla Dungeons.

Water Drake

Water Drakes are new hostile water mobs which spawn in Ocean biomes (the ones spawned in Deep Oceans are bigger and stronger) or in Water Drake Dungeons, which generate in Deep Oceans

Water Drake Dungeon

They attack Players, Squids and Dolphins and will flee from Guardians and Elder Guardians. Their attacks will cause the effect Deep Sea Toxin and they can become Invisible when attacking, but once out of water, they will flop around aimlessly and will suffocate eventualy.

 

The other tools are:

  • Prismarine Pickaxe: Made with Coral and Prismarine, has boosted mining speed underwater. Also mining Dead Coral drops the living version.
  • Marine Friend Totem: Made with Prismarine, Pearls and a Diamond. Boosts nearby Axolotls when right-clicking it (does not have durability, instead consumes Pearls). Mobs in the tag forge:marine_totem_boost are also boosted.

The other armors are:

  • Turtle leggings: Made with Turtle Scutes, grants Dolphins Grace.
  • Armadillo Boots: Made with Armadillo Scutes, grants extra Speed on Sand Blocks.
  • Rabbit Boots: Made with Rabbid Hides and Feet, grants extra Luck and Jump Boost.
  • Nautilus Chestplate: Made with Nautilus Shells and a Heart of the Sea, grant more Defense (+5) when underwater.
  • Pearl Necklace: Made with the new introduced Pearls and String. Gives you immunity to the effect Deep Sea Toxin and adds Pearls, Sea Urchins and Prismarine to the loot when fishing!

The Armors

 

This mod also adds 2 normal Enchantments and 8 Special Echantments.

The normal Enchantments are:

  • Knightrider: grants extra Weapon Reach when riding other entities and boosts the entity's Speed
  • Venoshot: inflints the new Potion Effect: Venom, which damages nearby mobs

 

The special Enchantments can be obtained in the new Reinforcing Table, using some under-used-in-vanilla-items and Lapislazuli. These Enchantments are:

  • Magical Affinity: Boosts weapon Attack Speed based on Enchantability.
  • Lucky Mining: May drop exp related to the mined block Hardness.
  • Echolocation: Gives Glowing to mobs targeting you.
  • Resonance: Knockbacks atttacking mobs.
  • Barrier: Protects you from certain damage types depending on the level:

                                -Level 1: Cacti, Sweet Berry Bushes (forge:barrier_protects_1)

                                -Level 2: Fireworks, Venom effect (forge:barrier_protects_2)

                                -Level 3: Anvil, Stalagmites (forge:barrier_protects_3)

                                -Level 4: Some mob non-arrow-Projectiles (forge:barrier_protects_4)

    Some of the protection has a cooldown.

  • Lightweight: Gives you lower gravity, make you jump further (does NOT nullify fall damage).
  • Toxic Barbs: Adds the Deep Sea Toxin effect to Trident attacks.
  • Netting: Makes Fishing Rods fish up more exp.

 

 

And for last the new Potion Effects:

  • Weight: Makes the mob Gravity stronger, also amplifies fall damage. Can be brewed using a Mudball on Awkard Potion. 

    (Immune mobs are in the tag forge:weight_immune)

  • Venom: Damages mobs nearby the affected mob (including them).

    (Immune mobs are in the tag forge:venom_immune)

  • Deep Sea Toxin: Damages mobs in contact with water (and rain). Similarly to Poison, increases the damage per second at higher levels.

    (Immune mobs are in the tag forge:deep_sea_toxin_immune)

Due to some limitations with Minecraft and Mcreator some features are changed from the 1.21.1 version. If there are errors please, notify me plis :)

-When enchanting in the Reinforcing Table, Boots, Chestplates, Leggings and Helmets use the tags:
forge:helmets, forge.chestplates, forge:leggings, forge:boots
So tag armors from other mods in these tags.
Also Breeze rods have being replaced with Phantom Membranes and Heavy Cores with Netherite Ingots in the Reinforcing Table.
-Removed Armadillo Scute Block and Boots.
 

I like how you made Krushk unique through its durability feature. I also think all the textures look amazing!
