I'm making an armor mod to play with friends and I've just started in the world of mod making
So to create the mod I am using mcreator 2020.2 for version 1.12.2 of minecraft and I wanted to make a 3d armor, I did the model in blockbench and imported it to mcreator and everything was normal but I noticed that when I put the armor on an armor stand, the helmet is looking at the other side and the arms are moving with Steve's arm movement animation. which should not happen and I am very new to this. (and I forgot to mention that it lags when I use it with other mods)

there is a Display in Blockbench, you might want to check that
????
there is a Display Section in Blockbench that shows how it looks in game
[TUTORIAL] How to make 3D rendered armor, with moving arms, legs and head. | MCreator
In response to RexCerv: I modeled the armor in blockbench as an entity and when you model an entity there is no display option.

true
make sure you don´t select any animations when importing the model and that all the pivot points are placed correctly
