Can a moderator help

Mods are usually unpublished because they don't follow mod publishing guidelines.

I looked at your mod and I suppose unpublishing can be caused by:
1. Minecraft GUI visible on title image
2. Mod being too small (both Glare and Allay adds only one mob - the question is, do they have all functionalities shown in mob vote videos, or are they just modelled and textured similarly? Having functional mobs can be not enough, but would definitely help)

Thanks for telling me about the mob functions and stuff that clears it up,but later on the minecraft mods tab i saw a glare mod that is still up.

I see that too. I guess mod being small isn't an issue then, but it's worth mentioning that this glare clearly follows its function (it hiss in dark). It is properly done in terms of image/description too.

If mod being small is an issue, there's a chance it was not yet seen by any moderator other than me, since I'm quite soft on mods and tend to unpublish only obvious ones (as of yet). But I believe it really depends on implementation.

Due to I see a mod here, I ask you a request I really like to tell a mod here.

Thing is, I use Mcreator and Blockbench. A load in of a model, I created in bb did not work under previous and the brand new version 4.0.

In the case of bb 4.0 I got 1 error because bb seems to use gradle 8 while Mcreator runs on gradle 7.1.1 right now. My bb model is incompatible right now. That means I can't load a model in mcreator for now. But I need to sooner or later. I want to add some female models in my mod. So I opened a new ticket because of that and it got deleted very soon.

Frankly said, this made me mad for real. I'm just saying this. But I wish for a solution, which makes me able to add new .java models for my new mob. I could imagine  that mcreator runs with grale 8 some day? Maybe it will be possible to create or edit a new model in mcreator?

That would make me independent from blockbench. On the other side, I have no influence how mcreator will developed on in the meantime. But you cant solve a problem, as long as you don't know about it. This is why it upsetted me on sunday.

Thank you

Few questions: 1) which…

Few questions:
1) which version of MCreator and which generator you use? (newest one, 2021.2, can be for 1.15.2 and 1.16.5)
2) did you set correct Minecraft version in your model settings?
3) if you created a ticket on GitHub, it would be useful if you link it here (closed ones are still visible here)

As I looked through GitHub closed issues, it is most probably that your Minecraft version stated in model settings is different from the one used in MCreator generator (for example, you made entity model for 1.14, when you use MCreator for 1.16 mod). If this is the case, the issue got closed because it is not bug related either to MCreator nor Blockbench. If this is not the case, then please give me more details, such as the ones above, and maybe error log (you can use gist to send it, so it will be more readable).

Hi Toma, thanks for the…
Thu, 10/21/2021 - 10:09

Hi Toma, thanks for the reply,

1) Mcreator 2021.2 and 2020.5 yesterday

2) I exported the model in 1.16.5 (not mojomaps) I also set the 1.16.5 mod in Mcreator. This was the first thing I checked out. BUT: I started BB 3.6.6 on Linux today and based on your answer I looked very close for what version I export my .java model. I wasn't able to retrace that. Because, when I opended an existing model and click on export as .java I see nowhere for what version it is. And the end of the story confirms your supposition. I fixed the trouble in the meantime as I readen your answer until the time I replied.

I tried to import e.g. a villager model, edit it to look her like a female and then import it to MCreator. That never worked so far. What ever I test, which tutorial I followed step by step, nothing worked. So I googled  yesterday and found a tutorial here with a link to Gecko lib, a BB version of 3.6.6 and MCreator 2020.5. I promised myself to have working versions of BB and MC, so I could add my custom model now. I was such a fool. It still didn't work.

So I shut down Linux and started Win7 and download BB 3.6.6 and MC 2020.5, hopefully it works there. During MC set up my mod the coincidence helped me out. BB updated automaticly itself from 3.6.6 to 4.0.1. This maded everything much easier somehow, but I still didn't know what did happen in the background. After that, I did This:

I load the villager model from the CEM-plugin. I started a new project as .java for ' Forge 1.15 - 1.16 mcp'. I copy pasted it step by step to the new model and exported it. It worked on Win7! Instantly! And it working as the only model on linux today.

I opened the .java model wich I created yesterday in a texteditor and I saw it was exported by BB 4.0.1! So I updated my Linux BB, like it happened automatic on Win7, copied every step I did yesterday.

Result: I instantly had a model, which MCreator could load without errors. These models are available in game. But your reply gave me the big break, I needed thank you.
