Hey guys,                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  Update from Oct. the 26th 2021

 

this is my update and I thinks I will update this topic in between, if there are some new about this mod. The first part is already mentioned in the comments below. A first inhabitant has moved in a testificate village of minecraft. The Iron Golem is not amused about her presence. It is not caused by her blocky butt. (HAHAHAHAHA) She is a mob and thats the reason. and if I understand it right, she need to be a mob, to defend herself if she is attacked. The iron golem is her only enemy so far and I need to change that and give her other enemys. But because I don't know yet how I can do this, I told her for now, to flee away from him. She doing well with that. But I trapped her in a fence right now, she can use doors and she already did that but she's not interested at all to go in a house or to go outside. If have no clue why. I also think I should find a way, to get her a day structure. I mean even the Nitwit of the testificates have a day structure.

- is a hour longer outside than the others and

- gets later to bed than everyone else.

I want to give the girls their own structures as well, including their sleeping time but does not know how I can do it. But I guess I will find a way. If someone have an idea, how I can do this, I look forward to hear it. Hit the comment section below and tell me, what I can do. I used the tick event and right now I am using a "Data number NBT tag" "TickCounter" and made a dependency if 100 Ticks were counted, one noise will be played. But it seem to have bug in 2020.5 version of MC. Anyway for this moment but I check out the internet soon, if I could use something like get Daytick or anything what refers on the time of day to trigger a special action by the girls.

My first model Jessica is a defender girl. Her job is to defend the village from monsters and is able for a close combat in fact she is able to incapacitate witches, zombies and any pillager within seconds! Well I thrown some healing potions on her after one victorious fight. The bad luck of the monsters are, she is too quick and to agile, so she runs under sprint pace in a fight, what makes it hard to fight this defender girl. She has good armor basic points, so damage she is taking, is reduced right now.

 

The following professions are planed for the Girls:

Profession occupied Their tasks
- Defenders 1 available they are close combat fighters at the borders of the village. Night active
- Gunners not occupied they take advantage & covered positions like building roof, on top of walls or towers. They support defenders with bullets. Night active
- Workers not occupied Have the same subprofessions like villagers have to keep the village alive. Some of them gives some supplies for the denfense.
- The queen not occupied She rules the Village, is the main person who is interacting with the player and coordinate every village defense including Pillager raids.
- Baby girl not occupied She's can grow the village with births, can rebirth a dead villager girl or the player in harcore. The newborn starts as a baby.
- Master brewer girl not occupied Not just a subprofession. Because she can brew potions for Baby Girl, who need this potions for her births. There are no matings ; )
- Dog / wolf girl not occupied Is sourrounded by 3 dogs. They disturb skelettons, to prevent them shooting on defenders or players. Night active
- Cat Girl not occupied Is sourrounded by 3 cats. They keep creepers away from the village. Night active
- Wandering trader girls not occupied Exchange Items between several girl villages.
- Marisa girl (She's a witch) not occupied Is planed as a girl, who helps the player get familiar with the girls. If the girls needs help from the player Marisa is able to find the player

 

I also added some new sounds. The hurt sounds hight come from an other mod or maybe I do them myself later, like I did with the living sounds. I checked out what type of sounds vanilla villagers have and created equivalent to their sounds new sounds by my own voice. I tried to sound my voice like a female at the closest but still realistic as i could, but i am not good with that all. So Audacity helps me out. I use the "Playsound" event because I have better control over the pitch of the female sound. First tests revealed that the pitch of the sound are too big, if I use the normal living sound. Either she sounds like, she sniffed some helium or she sounds like me sometimes.

So you are up to date for now. I am curious what you are thinking. By the way: Can you tell me if you see some pictures in my previous 3 last comments? I don't see them and I really would know what I am doing wrong. From other peoples posts, I can see their pics, if they posted some pics. Let me know in the comments ...

my name is Marcel and I am here because I am struggling with my mod, which I am about to create. I posted earlier my challenge somewhere else in the forum, but it brought me the idea to share with you what my mod will bring if it's ready.

I want to add some female villages, with their own buildings. Therefore they are villagers as well, I remodel a villager, but give this mob more a look of a female. These girls are not strong at all but extremely defensible, if they are attacked by zombies or skeletons. They have the same enemies like the player, but player and these girls can become an invincible team without any cheats or hacks.

In the beginning the girls are cautious and skeptical of the player and are not in the mood for jokes at night when they have to defend their village from monsters. Therefore, the player should either not be in the village at night or remain quiet in the guest house during the night. When everyone get used to each other over the time, the player can help secure the village in night time. Maybe his help will be required some day for this village or any other village, if an invasion is imminent.

Basically, my ideas came up more and more when I found skins with names like Wolf Girl, Cat Girl, Baby Girl and so on. I tell you one thing. These 3 types mentioned will be in the mod when I make first progresses. Wolf Girls will stress those skeletons that will panic in front of 3 dogs. In the same way, cat girls with 3 cats each of them will contribute the defense by keeping creepers away. Baby Girl can rebirth lost villager ladys and even the player, after he died in hardcore mode. And there is so much more...

 

My problem today is, I have Blockbench 4.0.0 and I have a lot of plugins. One of them allows me to import an existing Model, edit it and another allows me to export it as a .java model. But BB seems to work with gradle 8.0 while Mcreator works with 7.1. This makes my models incompatible, so I cant insert some models right now. Does anyone have an idea how I can work this out? I hope a new Version of Mcreator will come with gradle 8.0 soon.
