Topic category: Troubleshooting, bugs, and solutions
Don't know where to post this, I'll just hope Klemen will see it here.
The issue tab on GitHub doesn't let me create a new issue, I spent quite some time typing a detailed bug report twice now only for the browser to hit me with a "this page doesn't work" screen.
Kinda tired of that so I'll just type a shorter bug report here and hope Klemen will deal with it like this:
Title: Additional Generation Conditions causes workspace build to fail when dependency "world" is required on newest snapshot
Description: When creating a custom block and setting an additional generation condition that uses coordinates in its procedure, "world" is a required dependency, however the build fails, saying "symbol not found" and marking world.
Details:
MCreator version: EAP 2021.3 b45419
Generator type: forge-1.17.1
Steps to reproduce:
Step 1: Create a custom block
Step 2: On the Generation tab, add an additional generation condition
Step 3: In the created procedure, use a procedure block that uses X, Y, and Z coordinates, this will add "world" as a required dependency as shown in the screenshot below
Step 4: Save the procedure and mod element. On Forge 1.16 this will build just fine, but on Forge 1.17 the build will fail.
Oh and since I'm already passive-aggressively dropping bug reports here: the mcreator.net forum displays images in negative colors in the post creation screen when dark-mode is enabled
I will take a look, also please mind your language (edited the post), cursing and aggressive tone is not allowed on this website. More info here: https://mcreator.net/wiki/general-publishing-guidelines
I'm sorry, I was fed up after wasting quite some time just trying to help MCreator
Thanks for taking a look
