renaming vanilla items

I would like to rename leather armor to wool armor.

Changing or overriding a Vanilla item is hard and just not a good idea.

I suggest just making a new set of armor with different variants called "[INSERT COLOR] Wool Armor"

How do I make my armor dyeable?

You can do this in a couple of ways:

• Make a recipe for the variants of wool armor.
• Make a custom smithing table of some sort that you can use to mix the dye and wool armor.
• Make a procedure that automatically turns a wool armor into colored wool armor when you drop it in a cauldron.

There are probably more ways to do this but I can't think of more.
