Hey can i make the upside down using Mcreator?

Just watched stranger things and I want to make an upside down mod where if you find a fleshy portal thing in a wall like the show it would send you to the exact same world but the sky is like the nether and everything has a red look to it. Like if you place a block in the overworld the exact same block would place in the upside down. Would this be able to work with this software?
