MCreator Remote Workspace is not working

I am getting this error when i try to join my friend's Mcreator remote workspace.

"Failed to setup remote workspace. Reason:"
"The remote repository is not a MCreator workspace or is corrupted"

can someone fix this problem, we tried all the steps
