I am having a similar problem with my mod. go to procedure templates and select fill up a bottle with custom fluid. It has some raytrace procedures set up in it, so you can remove the stuff you dont want and add whatever you need to it. It doen't work perfectly, bc if you are in deep ocean you wont be able to click a block, but it works okay.

I already tried that, I actually used two procedures, one with player clicks block, the other player clicks item, to get the best patch possible. I just switched to using a keybinding though, and even though it annoys me because i cant use the right click, the keybinding does the job.
