I've downloaded the stable build of Mcreator 2021.3 on an Intel Mac, running MacOS Monterey 12.0.1, and the .dmg file just won't open. Any other .dmg file? Open's just fine. But Mcreator just won't. I've tried downloading and redownloading twice. Didn't work either time. I've tried restarting my computer. Did nothing. Is there anything I can do to fix it? Should I try an older version or something? If someone could help that would be great.
when u mount the dmg it doesn’t open automatically for some reason but it’s in the file menu in finder
Looks like the DMG is in a format that macOS does not support...? Apple M1 the same issue
I had this same issue just now until I figured to reinstate Rosetta 2 in the Terminal since this is an Intel program after all. Also clicking the DMG file straight from the downloads doesn't do anything; MCreator put itself as a removable disk so you have to open Finder and go to your USB/external drives to open it.
