This used to be a feature, but, since the 2022 updates (I believe) it has been removed for some reason.
Now bones with parent bones no longer appear in the 'Model Animation Definition Wizard' when importing or redefining animations. Requiring all bones to be individual. (Which sucks if you were trying to make more complex animations without plugins or library mods)
I am not sure if this is a bug, is being reworked, I'm remembering wrong, can no longer be supported, or was just forgotten. But, please, please add it back if possible
You can't do this in versions newer than 1.16.5 due to Mojangs new mappings or something
Ohhh, that makes sense. I was afraid it was an new version issue/change. Thank you for the info
