I've tried everything including changing the biome base height, the biome weight but nothing seems to work. When I do /locatebiome it just says "there is not a biomename within reasonable distance." For some reason if I set it to overworld caves then it does generate and I can generate a single biome world and that works perfectly fine. I have no procedures on this biome. Can anyone help?
i have the same issue, and i cannot seem to fix it,cave biomes work but thats it lol
Ugh I have the same problem, setting it to spawn in overworld caves also works but I can't find it above ground x-x
Oh wait ok I found a solution on here lmao. This post essentially said that biome spawning is more dependent on temperature and rain fall than biome weight. They link a website to the vanilla biome temperature and rain values, so I was able to set my custom biome to some existing values (plains and a taiga I think) and then crank biome weight up to 20. If you go up to 1024 your custom biome will replace any biome with the same temp and rain values. 20 seemed like a good amount to be able to find my biome but still see plains and taigas spawning.
Now I just have the problem of the custom flowers and trees not spawning x-x (they spawn when I set the world to single biome but not when they spawn in a default world).
