How to get an effect on key bind pressed when a certain item is in my inventory? (Waiting for reply)

I'm trying to make a mod where when you have a certain item in your inventory, upon clicking the space bar you get levitation for a couple seconds and then fall back down, kinda like a double jump. I don't really know how to make this though...
