The fences in my mod won't connect to each other, They act like normal blocks when they are place by each other but they work with non fence blocks and fence gates. I have no clue why, I made it so the block is a fence. Is there a solution to this or is it just a bug with 2022.2?

Is it a custom model?
They said they selected the built-in option that turns it into a fence.
You just need to add the fence or wall tag for it to work.
