Items are not displayed on their model

Hi, while making my mod, I came across one problem, creating my own model in the blockbench and adding it to the mod, I saw that the items that were in the same mob with the biped model disappeared when adding their model. Is it possible to fix it somehow?

So to clarify, a custom item model is invisible when placed in a biped model's hand?
