I'm sorry if this is a duplicate of other postings in the forum. I have seen this issue posted a few times on the forums but have not found any posting with an actual answer to the problem. I have written a fabric mod that uses a keybind. When playing single player, it works fine. But when I am playing on my Aternos server, it does not work. The keypress just seems to be ignored or lost.
I have read where someone said that the mod needs to be on the client AND the server. This does not make sense. I have Xaero's map mod on my client and it's keybind's work fine. I have Optifine on my client and it's keybinds work fine. So clearly the mods are not required on the server side.
I'm using the newest MCreator 2022.2 with the Fabric 1.19.1 Generator plug-in version 1.7-beta-4.
