Minecraft Bedrock Edition add-ons work for Education Edition too. (they are actually both bedrock edition, education edition just has educational features in it, and various other added things)
While you can't put much in them right now, you can still make mods (or rather, "add-ons") for this edition.
The mod is being exported as .mcaddon, correct? If you're talking about uploading it to CurseForge, I don't think that's a topic for here.
If you're talking about uploading it to Minecraft: Education Edition, just double click the file. Minecraft should begin importing your resource packs and behavior packs.
If you're talking about loading it into MCreator, go into generator version and change it to Minecraft Add-on (it should be somewhere along the lines of that).
Other than that, I'm not sure what you're talking about.
The Mod's Targeted Minecraft Version is too high, and there is no other Version to choose, when selecting the Add-on type of mod. And there aren't any other mod types that work for education.

The error was: "The property '/header/min_engine_version' has a version of '1.20.30' which is too high. The highest value we accept is '1.20.13'."
