How do I make a cloak slot?

Hi! So I use a mac, and I want to make a custom inventory slot like the chestplate slot, but only for cloaks. Does anyone know how to do this without plugins, or are there more detailed instructions for using those? I followed the steps on MCreator's page, but it didn't work.
