Restricting certain items from GUI slots

I'm making a mod where there are items that open a chest like inventory when right clicked with and I'm wondering how I would make it so that certain items cannot go into the inventory (Like shulker boxes and other portable storage items)

I would be fine with changing the code as long as it's not overly advanced
