I have 2022.2 version, non snapshot and i have a few plugins, one of them require to enable Java plugins and when i enable them,MCreator won't to load and stuck at loading generators. Even if i will delete all downloaded plugins it wont to load, what shoud I do?
PS: It stays like for more than an hour
2022.2 is a very old version. Trying to use it with any of the newer plugins will not work.
Also, such old versions are no longer supported on this website
Plugins you install are not in the same place the MCreator generators are. They are in users/youruser/.mcreator/plugins.
Most java plugins will not support 2022.2. (None of mine do at least)
loading Generators Loop appears if MCreator tries to load a generator from a Plugin.
Then how should I use Mcreator 2022.3 or 2023.1 for 1.16.5 minecraft version? It doesn't supports it. I can't load it without ANY plugins, I wrote it! There is no problem with plugins. I just download vanilla Mcreator, didn't touch it and enabled the Java Plugins option.
Btw GamesofFreak thanks for the information
Java plugins are loaded during the loading generators event. If it is stuck there, you HAVE a plugin.
But I have deleted all the plugins from /.mcreator/plugins. except those who came with Mcreator vanilla
Damn... I solved the problem. As NerdyPuzzle said, the plugin folder was on disk C, and I didn't clear it from old plugins... For some reason MCreator opened plugins folder not on the disk C,but on the place where it has been installed
If you are in the correct folder, there are no "vanilla" plugins as MCreator's plugins are in install dir plugins folder, not in home dir plugins folder.
User plugins belong to home dir plugins folder
I have the same problem and I still have some questions. Mcreator Version - 2022.3
[1] If it is correct that I should copy my plugins( Attributes & Curios API ) in C:/User/.mcreator/plugins into the directory I install my Mcreator (D:/Program Files/Pylo/Mcreator/plugins) or only in disk C or disk D. Which plugin directory is Mcreator actually loading?
[2] I also added Mcreator 1.16.5 generator plugin should I put it with vanilla generators(forge 1.18 & 1.19) together and delete it from disk C plugins folder?
Yeah similar issue here too, but only happens with the 1.12.2 generator which stated by the developer of the plug-in is not in use anymore or is no longer supported by the latest versions of MCreator (most likely 2021 & above) so basically meaning backwards compatible plugins aren’t supported any longer which is bs.
