Every door I make as black and pick textures when placed on the ground. The door open and close as normal, but never display the texture I give it. I tried my own texttures vanilla textures and textures made by others. Whatever I do I cant make the door work properly even by following step by step every tutorial there is about making custom doors on YouTube. I've also read dozens of topics here with none resolving the situation.
BTW. I know trapdoors work fine as I made 144 without any having texture issues.
Did you try to remove the caches file ?...
If not, go to your documents <your user home folder>/.mcreator/gradle
In this folder, there is a folder called caches. Delete this folder and open MCreator again
If you can't delete the file, restart your computer and do the same thing before opening mcreator
The answer seemed simple and precise sadly it didn't make a diference. My doors are still checkered pink and black even when given the 3 necessary textures.
