I want to make a resurrection system

I want to make a resurrection system. I already have a store in fashion where you can buy living water. I want to make a system so that when a player dies, I transfer from spectators and either he dies completely after 15 seconds, or he presses x and uses living water. I already did the procedure but it doesn't work. the main problem is that after death it is impossible to accrue a variable to the player that will start the process.
