i have the same error. Thats something what sometimes shows up after manually trying to duplicate a Workspace (at least thats how it happened in my case). Another possible reason could be a defective installation (most likely 2023.1 because thats where i got this problem) which deleted your Jave JDK. Just try to reinstall Java from here
I just got it by using the latest version of MCreator. 2023.2. And it threw the error. I cannot reinstall Java because I don't have Admin to copy files to ProgramFiles.
then just install the forge version of the mod u want to test
(small tutorial not sure if you need it)
create a installation for e.g. forge 1.18.2
Export your mod to the mods folder in .minecraft
select your forge installation and run the client
just test in a newly created world
firewall is the problem
I mean maybe
that could also be the cause
