I'm making a candyland dimension, think of the boardgame or the candy kingdom from Adventure Time or the setting from Wreck it Ralph, and I'm looking for some ideas for new biomes, structures, mobs, and some sort of boss, or some sort of original gameplay mechanic. Any help is appreciated!
Not sure about help, but I do have a boatload of unused candy block textures for an old mod I never got around to finishing, if you're interested. I don't have any use for them myself, but I'd rather they don't go to waste.

cuz maybe you can make a Candy Glob, it's a mob that has a 5% chance of spawning and it has popsicles sticking out of it, and it would be bright magenta and i takes 2.5 hearts. it has 50 health.

You could also ask ChatGPT, it can generate Minecraft dimension content ideas for you :)
Maybe add a custom type of TNT crafted with something similar to Pop Rocks! but since those are trademarked you could call it Fizzle Candy or something? Maybe make a blue and red creeper variant that's meant to be made of the same fizzle candy?
Though there have been a few Candyland Dimension mods in the past I feel like many have used the same typical peppermint tree forest, pink frosting grass blocks, etc. There are so much different types of candy/sweet treats though. Maybe you could have something like a Marshmallow biome, where the ground blocks allow you to jump slightly higher, or maybe a Lolypop biome where the tree trunks of lolipop trees could be used as an alternative way to get paper. Another biome could be peanut butter based, maybe have a special type of peanut butter block that could reduce movement speed similarly to soul sand? Maybe add something like a Lemonhead Forest or a Pixie Stix desert where the 'sand' is really made of multi-colored sugar?
For custom structures you could add big rock candy crystals or Gingerbread houses. Maybe have a Licorice Fortress as a dungeon of some kind?

diffrent biomes with diffrent type of trees. maybe a biome with lollipop trees and another one with cotton candy trees. oceans of soft drinks and maybe grass made out of twizzlers.
