It would be nice if you could make custom banner patterns that have cool patterns when applied onto banners. It would basically work like this:
You can type in the name of the pattern, and whatever name you put in would be put into the "lore" of the item.
For example, if you name your banner pattern, "amogus", the item would called "Banner Pattern", and the "lore" section of the item would contain the name of the pattern
You could also import the texture of the pattern when on a banner into MCreator, which would have to be made in the same way as the vanilla Banner Patterns
It is rather odd that MCreator can't do much with banners, isn't it? This is a really cool idea.
This would be really nice, and I hope that they add this as well, although i don't know how easy it would be to implement.
Same.
I think that can be a really good adiddiction.
But i think which mCreator developers should not put in because there may be some users making patterns with illegal figures or figures for those over 18.
it's not impossible but it shouldn't be likely.
Maybe they have to review your image before you can use it, to ensure that it is ok to use?
I mean, if somebody was that desperate to put inappropriate stuff in a mod there are literally endless ways of getting it to happen. Block textures, item textures, pantings, logos, guis, effect icons... just to name a few; banner patterns would just be another brick in the wall in that regard. Besides, I'd be shocked if some creep hasn't figured out how to make it happen with vanilla's patterns.
So anyway... Year 2 of waiting for this to happen, because it's still a good idea (although I think I saw that the second snapshot for 2024.3 has some banner pattern support, though limited)
