Hello,

I have the same problem: what is the most efficient way to edit stats of vanilla items ? Managed already to alter coal burning time with an item.extension, but how to do on other stats ?

E.g. just wanna lower the durability or efficiency of a pick axe, do you have to create a complete new item with modeed stats ?

And where to find all the vanilla stats ? Every Google search just returned the "version.jar", yes there are the models, textures aso - but where are the other item stats like durability or hardness  ?

Any hint is much appreciated !
