This is the FERMENTATION MOD! I'm surprised this doesn't exist yet. It seems like something that would already be in the game by now!

Features:

Make alcohol by brewing berries or wheat into an empty bottle
Make cheese by brewing vinegar into milk
Bottle sugar so you can smelt it into ethanol, which you can smelt into acetic acid
Make vinegar by brewing acetic acid into water
Craft cucumbers with vinegar to make pickles
Get olive branches from new olive trees and craft them with vinegar to make olives
