Kath's Laser Sabers

**For Forge 1.17.1**

This mod aims to add a Lightsaber-like weapon to Minecraft. There is a full progression system built around getting a crystal, hilt, and finally saber. There are 13 different colors to choose from: red, orange, yellow, lime, green, cyan, light blue, dark blue, purple, magenta, pink, white, and black. The Sabers can be used quickly and do quite a bit of damage, as they should. The Sabers CANNOT be enchanted or repaired, but have high durability of 2,100 uses each. I would highly suggest using this mod alongside a "recipe-finder" mod, such as Just Enough Items, as there are several recipes you need to keep track of.

Once you find an amethyst, you surround a full cluster with different rocks. This creates an "Unpurified 'Kyber' Crystal." Smelt this to get a "Purified 'Kyber' Crystal." Using a smiting table, you can combine a purified crystal with a dyed candle to get a colored crystal. After making a hilt from iron, glass, and redstone, you can combine that with a colored crystal -- once again in a smiting table -- to get your saber!

**Plans for future versions:**

If this mod does well, I plan to add sounds to the sabers, as well as find a way to make them glow (give off light like a torch).
