You need Forge Mod Loader and Curios API to run this Mod!

The Thirst Index
➤ You can find it next to your Hunger and XP bar
➤ It shows your thirst in %, and it ranges from 0% to 110%
➤ If you hold an item that gives thirst points, it'll expand and show the information about that item
➤ Blue means: you are fine, Green means: you drank something bad, Red means: you drank too much
➤ It can drain from: Time, Sprinting, Jumping, Healing, Breaking Blocks, Placing Blocks
➤ It'll only drain in survival and adventure

Every item you get thirst points from
➤ Water Bottle: +15% (75% Chance for Thirst Effect)
➤ Purified Water Bottle: +15%
➤ Big Water Bottle: +20% (80% Chance for Thirst Effect)
➤ Big Purified Water Bottle: +20%
➤ Any Milk Carton: +10%
➤ Cactus Fruit: +15% (100% Chance for Thirst Effect (and nausea) after 30 seconds)
➤ Melon: +10%
➤ Any Stew/Soup: +5%

Drinking from Water Sources
If you don't have any bottles yet, you can just Right Click on water sources. This way you'll fill 5% of your thirst, but you have a 50% chance to get the thirst effect for every sip.

Thirst Effect
This can happen if you drink/eat something that is not that clean. These will last 30 seconds by default.
If you hold shift (sneak) while the effect is on, you won't lose any thirst points during the effect.
There are 3 levels: 0(I.), 1(II.), 2(III.). You can only get Thirst I., the higher levels are only available with commands. If you try to give yourself even higher levels, they will be as strong as Thirst I.

Dehydration
You should always have a drink with you, you don't want to dry out... It'll last until your thirst is at 0%.
Negative Effects:
➤ 1 damage every 2 seconds
➤ Darkness: You feel like the whole world is fading away
➤ Weakness: You lose all your power, can't do anything

Overhydration
I have never seen a thirst mod with "Overhydration". In this mod, this happens when you drink too much. It'll last until your thirst is above 100%.
Negative Effects:
➤ 1 damage every 2 seconds
➤ Slowness: You drank too much, you can barely move
➤ Nausea: If you drink too much, you may feel sick

Rain Collector
This is a block that can be crafted with 3 iron, 4 stone, 1 bucket, and 1 charcoal filter. When it's raining it'll start collecting purified water. It can store 10,000mb and can be used as storage too. Just right-click with a bottle(333mb) or a big bottle(2000mb) to fill it. You can also fill it back. No block can be above it, or else it won't collect any water.

Water Bubbles
In the early game thirst mods can give a fun challenge, but at the end game, they can get annoying. That's why I added "Water Bubbles"!
Their job is to hydrate you. There are 5 tiers of it, the higher the tier, the slower you'll get thirsty.
They can be also equipped in the Curios API's Bubble Slots, but works in the inventory just fine!
➤ Tier I Bubble: The Power of Ocean | +1% Thirst / Minute
➤ Tier II Bubble: The Power of Sky | +2.5% Thirst / Minute
➤ Tier III Bubble: The Power of Nether | +5% Thirst / Minute
➤ Tier IV Bubble: The Power of End | +10% Thirst / Minute
➤ Tier V Bubble: The Power of Life | +30% Thirst / Minute
You can also merge 9 Life Bubbles into the "Infinity Bubble", which will keep your thirst bar at 100% forever!
