Topic category: Help with MCreator software
Good afternoon, everyone.
Perhaps my question is stupid, but I am just learning MCreator.
Suppose we have a block "InfectedGrassBlock" and a plant "InfectedTallGrass".
The following settings are used for the block:
MATERIAL - GRASS;
STEP SOUND - GROUND.
And yet, the grass does not appear when generating the world, and it cannot be placed on this block as if it were not grass. How can this problem be solved? Thanks in advance.
I apologize for my bad English, it's not my native language.
Block materials do not determine how a block generates, they only determine other properties of the block. If you want your grass to generate in the world, you need to make a 'world feature' that spreads patches of that block.
As for placing grass on your block, there should be a seperate property called 'can plants sustain on this block' in 'advanced settings' that will enable vanilla plants to be placed on your block.
