Hey! i hope someone sees this! so im making a creature but i want it to have glowing textures so not the whole thing but like parts glow is there anyway to do this like with any mcreator plugins or just normal mcreator?! i use blockbench if that plays a part in that! thanks so much!
MCreator has built in support for glowing creature textures. When you make a creature, you can give it an optional 'glow texture' that will be overlayed over the main texture, and will be rendered at maximum brightness regardless of surrounding light levels. If you instead want custom glow textures for blocks, items, particles, or vanilla entities, you can't do it in MCreator, but you can provide optifine textures built into your mod that will work as long as the user also has optifine installed. (It's a bit more complicated though.)
In 2023.4, you add new model layer, use Default model (so the same model as entity is used), select glow texture and check the box that enables layer glow
