Topic category: Help with MCreator software
My only disappointment with this mod is it's limited forge versions. I can find very few modpacks on curseforge that have the appropriate combination of mc version and forge version that McCreate offers.
None of the explanations such as "disabling the Forge version check in workspace settings" does not allow the mod to work in modpacks with higher forge versions. This is extremely limiting.
There has to be a way to update McCreate to a desired version of forge, but I can't find any information on this. The answer I see most is that McCreate uses the most recommended forge versions, but I have only found one modpack that can work with McCreate 1.20.1 forge 47.2.0. Everything else I have tried is higher forge versions and I have looked at 1.18.2, 19.2 as well.
Please help with a way to resolve this issue. Thanks.
Mods made with MCreator do not require explicit version set and work with later Forge versions too
That's funny because it doesn't work for me. If I try to use it on a higher forge version, it gives me an error when i load the game.
