I know duplicates are not allowed but the existing post (https://mcreator.net/forum/103256/mcreator-crashes-when-i-try-create-ne…)
does not have answers.
I am using the right mac version and intel, that is not the problem. The problem is MCreator crashing with no plugins, reseted .mcreator and MCreatorWorkspaces folders and even a redownload.
Please help as I can find no fix (It is not my mac on the wrong version with M1-3 Chips!)
(I have MacOS 11+ and older versions of MCreator work fine c:)
I really want to work on my mod lol

You have installed wrong version. On M1 Mac, you need to use AARCH64 / Silicon version, not x64 version as this is not architecture of your device.
Please also take a read of this duplicate issue: https://github.com/MCreator/MCreator/issues/4468
Klemen, thank you for the answer but I specifically said I have the right version of MCreator for my computer.
I have an older computer without an M1+ chip and 64 doesn’t work
Intel worked before and its my computer version
Procedures do work for older versions.
Well, this is no longer the case.
Your Mac is M-core based, so you need AARCH64 version. If you don't want to use that version, MCreator will not work for you.
Klemen. I am saying my mac is NOT M core based and AARCH does NOT work. Even trying to open it on my computer as an application doesn't work.
On this same computer I have gotten Intel version and that is my computer version. My computer IS Intel. Older versions on MCreator work on this computer when I select Intel download type (For example 2023.2 works fine when I choose intel download, no bugs follow. I am sure my computer is Intel and should support 2023.4 fine)
I see.
Could you provide logs found in user home/.mcreator/logs from the session when MCreator freezes when opening the procedure editor? Thanks!
Could you also try snapshots to see at what snapshot this started to happen?
Alright! Thank you for understanding.
When I get back home I will provide you with any info I can. (Also, can we transfer this to a Github issue instead of a forum post?)
Github issue created c:
Thanks, see you at the issue!
I have some good news.
We have re-released MCreator 2023.4 with a fix for this problem so you don't have to wait for the next release.
Just re-download 2023.4 from the website and you should be good to go :)
Thank you so SO much Klemen! <3
