Help with GUI

Hi, I'm creating a mod dedicated to various video games including Skyrim, Dark Souls and so on....And now I'm working on a block called Soapstone, that is, a writing that comes from the world of Dark Souls. What does this writing do? It allows you to leave messages around the game world. I'm trying to recreate this feature in Minecraft, but I'm not succeeding. When I write something in the "TEXT INPUT" it doesn't save, I wanted to ask you, is there a way to save what the players write? PS. I use Mcreator 1.20.1
