I have added chants to an upcomming religion mod for mc to add some more realism to mc and I am having problems with the music disc, anyone knows how to fix the range and voloume?
Volume is just a problem on your end. If it's too loud, that means you need to decrease the volume of the sound file you provide.
As for range, that likely means you gave it a stereo instead of a mono track. Sound effects MUST be mono, otherwise directionality and range won't work properly. (A stereo track has two tracks for left/right, and thus can't have range, it will appear to just play everywhere. This is how the ambient music works.) Most sound editing tools, such as Audacity, should let you convert from stereo to mono pretty easily.
I used a yt video and downloaded a ogg filled from convertio.com, so idk genuinely but I'll try to see and ty for the help
If you've got an ogg file, yeah, you should be able to just pop it into Audacity, split it, and download it again. But yeah, good luck!
