When i open up mcreator the start up window doesn't close and won't allow me to access my mods. this just started happening randomly

When i open up mcreator the start up window doesn't close and won't allow me to access my mods. this just started happening randomly
Installing the new update of mcreator fixed this
Happened to me as well starting last night. Updating to newest snapshot 4712 was still causing the issue, but one release earlier 0712 works for me.
