How to use directions

I'm current working on make sound queues in diferents directions and the player needs to move to that direction, for example, an audio that play in the right of the player, so the player needs to go to the right. But I'm not sure if there is a block that get the direction the player is facing and play a sound in the right, or something like that, if someone could help with that I will be very grateful!
