Universal MCreator version

As we know, MCreator has multiple versions that all support different versions of minecraft. Whilst this idea would take a lot of time, progress and work, it could be very useful. Instead of having multiple seperate versions, why not have a singular main version which supports many different versions of Minecraft? If the version gets updated and it is in a new version (Lets say last version was for 1.22.1, newer version for 1.22.3), keep the old version but continue for larger versions. This would mean that you dont have to keep re-installing versions of Mcreator just for the sake of creating new mods. I know 1.12.2 and many older versions of minecraft aren't worth supporting, but the reason why many people want to mod for 1.12.2, it's because of the amount of quality mods there, like Scape & Run Parasites, Spartan Weaponry, HBM's Nuclear Tech Mod and many others. Making one universal version that updates as it goes as one application would be very useful. And like with the already normal Mcreator plugins, people could create plugins for this universal version so they don't have to worry about making a plugin for a most-likely dead version. 1.XX.X, 1.20.X, 1.19, 1.18 and 1.17 would be good base versions to start off of, and people could submit their own generators into a voting system, and the most voted one could be implemented into the Mcreator main version, so the people could slowly expand Mcreator's version reach, Like how Curseforge still has options for 1.7.10 and below.

If you are willing to find developers and fund them to maintain every single version you want, feel free to do so, it would be interesting seeing a plugin supporting all versions, for example

Klemen I think 1.12.2 should be supported alongside with the newest version as an exception. A lot of good stuff are in this version and it is a very historically significant minecraft version much like 1.16.5 but i get why you don't and it is completely understandable.
