Why can't we make anvil recipes?

I've been wanting this feature for a while. There is a issue tracker ticket from 2019 (by RaolTheBest, found at this link > https://mcreator.net/tracker/issue/52625) and Klemen thought it would be a cool idea... it's been 5 years and I though it would be in here somewhere, but I can't find it. Am I doing something wrong or does it just not exist?
