Custom block model rejected by format

I recently moved a custom block model from Block bench to Mcreator. The model shows up but the texture for it is invisible and when loaded it just shows a missing texture on the custom model. I tried to select no texture since it should be on the file, but it won't let me save the block with no texture for some reason.
