Outdated forums say to use tags, but in the Forge's website page about OreDictionary it says its entries are usually camelCased, and MCreator 2024.3 tags do not support camelCase.
OreDictionary was a system in old Minecraft versions, such as 1.12 and earlier, which has since been completely replaced by tags.
All information about OreDictionary is completely obsolete unless you are using a plugin to work with 1.12 or earlier version of Minecraft.
For newer version, just use the tag system, which is designed to use underscores instead of camelCase, such as minecraft:logs_that_burn.
