**DISCLAIMER** (Please read this document thoroughly, including the included hyperlinks. Actual testing and verification of the mod are strongly recommended, regardless of whether you are a moderator or not.):

This mod is unofficial and not affiliated with Mojang or Microsoft. It adheres to the rules as it is original and includes a disclaimer, as implied by the Minecraft EULA, which prohibits “confusingly similar” content. Therefore, the mod explicitly states “UNOFFICIAL” and includes the disclaimer to distinguish it from the base game.

Furthermore, the EULA link provided by Pylo is outdated and redirects to minecraft.net. Pylo should consider using the newer EULA at https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/eula and https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/usage-guidelines.

Additionally, this mod is completely free, and the provided description only scratches the surface of its content, as there is more to discover. The Better Minecraft logo prominently displays “Better” in gold text at the top to further distinguish it from regular Minecraft. The Minecraft Usage Guidelines also mandate that this mod be clearly identified as unofficial and displayed as such. This disclaimer and the “[UNOFFICIAL]” tag in the mod’s title fulfill this requirement.

Better MC

Better MC is an UNOFFICIAL mod for Minecraft: Java Edition 1.21.1 for NeoForge that adds various things. Here are some of the features:

  • Ruby gear that is better than Netherite gear. Yes, it is a different implementation of said rubies.
  • Ruby shields that have 10,000 durability, are crafted with 4 diamonds, 4 rubies, and 1 amethyst shard and deflect full damage towards an attacker and act like regular shields.
  • Polycarbonate gear that is unbreakable yet relatively weak in terms of protection compared to ruby armor, and polycarbonate is crafted with 1 cooked porkchop, 1 log, and 1 water bucket.
  • More uses for dirt such as making compressed dirt to make gear and more durable blocks of compressed dirt (it takes dirt shelters to the next level!) as well as dirt doors, trapdoors, stairs, and more.
  • Souls that drop from slain entities and can be eaten, crafted into soul torches and iron-durability early-game spirit gear and more.
  • Uranium ore, nuclear reactors that burn 1 uranium every 10 seconds for redstone power, plutonium crafted with 1 cobblestone, 1 soul, and 1 amethyst shard that is a great instant fertilizer in Minecraft (NOT IN REAL LIFE).
  • Soul lava and soul magma blocks that easily kill the player in-game regardless of fire resistance.
  • A God boss that is hard to defeat but one can use snowballs or the Sword of the Ancient Gods' right-click void attack to damage and plays Undefeatable from Sonic: Frontiers and will naturally be spawned by right-clicking the God Catalyst at (0, 0) in the Spirit Realm dimension (using amethyst blocks and a Spirit Key).
  • An Infinite boss that plays Infinite from Sonic: Forces but is difficult yet easier to defeat than God.
  • Copper and ruby command blocks that run commands when hit, hit by projectiles, or given a redstone signal.
  • A ruby book that can do magic spells.
  • A nuke crafted with a demon core (crafted with 9 uranium) and 8 blocks of polycarbonate (crafted with 9 polycarbonate) and will crash the game after a few seconds upon being turned on.
  • The Ether dimension, which is accessed with an Ether Lighter (1 emerald, 7 iron ingots, and 1 tinted glass) and a crying obsidian portal. Be careful: it is a cyberrack wasteland with Nether generation with tar (a fluid that kills you instantly in-game with drowning damage) as the fluid where kernel panic moths (which shoot many projectiles, buzz like an angry bee, and will crash one's game) and cyber creepers (which are fast creepers that crash the game instantly with a white overlay upon hitting the player with its explosion in-game).
  • Candy, ruby candy baskets, and a Trick or Treat by Laudivini (or however you spell their artist name) music disc.
  • Satanic Church structures (ruby boxes with an entrance where demon mobs spawn constantly with a ruby altar, Year Zero by Ghost music disc, and overpowered ruby sword named "Sacrificial Blade" exist with the ruby altar able to run any command in the entire game with a permission level of 4, and to make matters worse (or better, depending on your point of view), it spawns early-game, which can be helpful for speedruns, for example)
  • Rare cherry villages that are on top of giant sandstone blocks, spawn in cherry grove biomes, and have the best gear in the entire game as well as 3 sets of overpowered amethyst-trim ruby gear (there's somehow frost walker on the ruby sword in that set!) with a mace, overpowered ruby sword, pickaxe, and axe, and an overpowered Sword of the Blazing Inferno (this inferno sword will burn an entity for a theoretical time of many years (decades, even) until either the affected entity or real-life player dies (most likely the entity) upon the player hitting a mob with it, but one can jump into water to remove the eternal fire effect), and also every item imaginable as well as (almost) every vanilla music disc in the game.
  • Ruby trial chambers with trial keys and some loot that prepares one for the regular trial chambers (pro tip: break the red stained glass (the seal of the ruby trial chamber) on top to enter as if it were a sealed bottle of delicious Pepsi).
  • Somewhat-common fallen star (glowstone balls that spawn occasionally) and lost dreamland (granite boxes with a bedrock floor and torches inside and a glass roof and red bed as well as an oak door) structures.
  • A Champion's Road dimension (with a ruby portal and Champion's Key igniter) where it is hard to move around and not only has Breezes everywhere but (almost) every structure MCreator can muster in a biome as well as a base block of ruby blocks. If you can place an activated beacon on top of an end city or end ship in Champion's Road, that is considered as conquering Champion's Road. You'll need Speed 255 and Jump Boost 5 or so to even be able to easily navigate, and even then, auto-jump won't work. Champion's Road Blocks (which are rainbow) will also strike lightning when interacted with and are unbreakable, so you must go to the ruby layer and then proceed to place a torch or soul torch at least 2 blocks below a Champion's Road Block then mine the rubies above the torch. This will make the Champion's Road Blocks (which have gravity) to fall and break and then drop, which are also used for some end-game recipes in Better Minecraft.
  • Copper gear that is slightly better than iron.
  • Engineer villagers with crafting table job blocks that sell one some engineer stuff.
  • Demon mobs that, when hit, will proceed to attack the player (they are neutral mobs). They are clad in ruby gear with a ruby shield and mace, and their mace (better_minecraft:mace, NOT minecraft:mace) is special in that it will stun the player, making it easier for the demons to overpower the player, and every demon nearby will also attack the player. If you thought baby zombies and/or angered baby zombified piglins were bad, angered baby demons are even worse!
  • Soul jack-o-lanterns with soul torches instead of regular ones.
  • Bomb items crafted with 1 gunpowder, 4 Netherite ingots, and 1 string.
  • Compatibility with the Iris and Sodium mods and BSL Shader.
  • New splash texts (some of them having some sort of Apple iRelation (relation to Apple)).
  • /sethome and home potions (brewed with a potion of wind charging and 1 ruby, these teleport you to the place where one used /sethome, but USE /sethome FIRST OR YOU'LL BE TELEPORTED TO (0, 0, 0) AND NEVER BE ABLE TO RETURN!!!
  • and more!

Couldn't you just change the name of the mod? Then you wouldn't have to deal with that EULA stuff, and there's a popular modpack going by the same name, which is even more confusing.

also, this ain't even a better Minecraft :/ it just feels like one of those mods that just looks very strange like we have political figures as bosses for some reason and God, some dream dimension that's just the cherry grove biome, and the matrix too, like what even is this?

either this is purposely satire or just a very strange project

lol this is not a diplomatic battleground this is a mod maker for (mostly) kids dude
