Hello,
I'm having an issue with opening MCreator. After the program requested Java 21 (64-bit), I downloaded and installed Java 21 correctly. However, now MCreator won't open at all.
- After installing Java 21 and correctly setting up the environment variables, the program still does not launch.
- I’ve tried running MCreator as administrator and checked the
mcreator.propertiesfile, but the issue persists. - I also checked the log files, but I didn’t find any clear information about the error.
- Previously, MCreator worked fine with a different version of Java, and I haven’t made any significant changes to my operating system.
I was quietly uploading models for my project when it closed, I opened it again and it appeared to me to download a specific version of openjdk. I did so and when I started it, the error no longer appeared and the application did not start.
You don't need to install Java manually.
Usually if Java is missing, this is because your anvirus deleted parts of MCreator installation and thus essentially broke it.
